JOIN US FOR A HOLIDAY SING A LONG AND CAMPFIRE

Join us for a holiday sing-a-long and campfire on Thursday, December 8th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the campfire pit in front of the field house.  We will have stories and songs to celebrate the season and hot chocolate to help keep us warm.

Dress warmly and bring a mug for the hot chocolate!

WITHROW PARK COMMUNITY SAFETY WALK - NOVEMBER 17

In July there was a community safety walk at Withrow Park to address concerns about park safety.  At that time an action plan was prepared.   

On November 17 at 7 pm meet with P.C. Rob McDonald, Division 55, Mark Hawkins, Park Supervisor, and Councillor Fletcher to assess the how the action plan was put into effect.  We will meet at the Withrow Park Club House.  Dress warmly- this is an outdoor event that will take place rain or shine.

This is a good chance to raise any safety concerns that you may have about the park and to see what progress has been made to date.  I hope to see you there.

WHAT A GREAT PUMPKIN PARADE!

What a great night!  We counted 227 jack o lanterns at the pumpkin parade and they were a beautiful sight.  The campfire was a great spot to gather and the kids had a treat with some Halloween stories by the fire.

Thank you to Councillor Fletcher for helping us to obtain the permit for the event.  Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy a wonderful evening in the park.  We will do it again next year!
